Chris Lupo
BioLupo has seven years experience as a teaching assistant and associate instructor. He specializes in compilers and code generation and is interested in compilation algorithms that make programs run more efficiently, use less power, and require fewer resources. At Cal Poly he is looking forward to teaching computer architecture, embedded systems, and the capstone course, and he is excited to work with students on senior and master's projects, as well as group projects in the capstone class. Next quarter Lupo will begin co-advising the Eta Kappa Nu club, the electrical and computer engineering honor society at Cal Poly. The new assistant professor graduated with honors from California State University, Fresno in 1997 with an electrical engineering degree. He went on to get his master's and last spring, his Ph.D., in computer engineering at the University of California, Davis.
