Dr. Bridget Benson is currently the Associate Dean of Research and Assessment in the College of Engineering. In this role, she focuses on supporting faculty and students on applied research endeavors and continuous program improvement. Among other activities, she supports the College’s graduate programs, runs the College of Engineering’s Summer Undergraduate Research Program and coordinates the College’s efforts toward ABET accreditation.
Dr. Bridget Benson’s research interests span engineering education, embedded systems and marine technology. She is currently working with a great team of faculty, staff, and students on CPE’s NSF RED Grant – ‘Breaking the Binary.’
